I do tend to integrate a number of techniques into your sessions to accommodate your individual needs.
Traditional Massage
A variety of techniques meant to relax and resolve soreness or areas of stress within the body. This includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Prenatal and/or Induction massage.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Rhythmic and gentle stretching of the skin to support and increase movement of the lymph and interstial fluid. Along with lymph activity, general effects of MLD also include a stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system, analgesic benefit and a re-direction of blocked fluid. 60 or 90 minutes is recommended for your first session.
Abhyanga
An ancient Ayurvedic massage technique that utilizes warm oils, specific to your constitution. Hair, ears and abdominal work included to encourage a grounding, relaxing and cleansing experience. Particularly beneficial postpartum.
