Rise up to Your Dreams

  I never really considered myself to have a green thumb. As a child if I ever got dirty I would run to my mother and exclaim, "Nassy, nassy!" and beg my mother to wash my hands. Yet, my mother's love for gardening definitely rubbed off on me and I constantly love to dig in the dirt,  welcome the earthworms and whisper to the ladybugs. Over the last week I have spent a good number of hours ripping out old plants, whose company I did not enjoy, and welcoming beautiful buds of new plants into my garden. Today as I spray the mist on their beautiful faces and let them soak in the drops as they turn their face to the setting sun, I wish that all of you could find some place, something, where your heart belongs and enjoy it. Do it for you! It certainly feels good even when you have to listen to your husband complain about helping you with it...or when it really isn't his thing...but, he willingly does it because he knows it brings you joy. Stay tuned because I'm sure once all of these plants dig their roots firmly into the ground and find that this is their home; stretch their branches to the sky and blossom... I'm sure I will be sharing photos to display the fruits of my labor. Whatever fantasies you keep or whatever dreams you dream make sure that you take action... Dig your hands into the earth, plant your feet firmly and raise your face to the sky like the beautiful buds of my roses, my daffodils, my irises and every eternal spring in your heart. Rise up sweet friends and share your glory!
