We circle.

 

        I write this to you from a place of raw vulnerability. I am still fresh from the experience and so I write to you. I write to get out of my head. To put it into an existence other than my own. I write to give it energy and life so it may live and breathe on so it stays alive. I give you this experience because my heart hurts to think that others may never know it. May never feel it. The power and the magic and the tears and the love that flow like an open wound between one woman to another. That's why we came here. To unpack. To unravel our ugly. Our beauty. Our truth. To be not the titles. Not the roles. Not the judgement or the critic. To be. Alive and honest. Raw and exposed. Naked and stripped. I give you me in most natural and rugged form. I hope you love me for none other than that. I circle with you because I need to feel a connection that is more than my day to day monotony. I need to feel another through eye contact and tears. Through smiles and laughter. Through food infused with deep love and gratitude. Through touch and sunlight.  

I cry with you because your pain has become mine and I ache with you. I cry because of the pain you are in and the suffering you endure. I stand with you. I take your hand and see your heart and will walk with you. I see you. Your beautiful light filled soul. We circled. We came together in a place where only deep connection lived. We allowed the cracks to open and filled them with light. We listened with our whole being. We cut out words on paper and dreamed together. Filled the room with laughter and energy. We wrote in our journals and felt our hearts beat fast. We spoke. We listened. We stood in front of one another and accepted our light. Our color. We spoke with no words.  

To be alive in that way is a gift of which so little experience. To be allowed and given permission to be free sets your soul on fire and reminds you of a place you once were. It lifts you out of your body and reminds you of the love you divinely possess. To be seen as who you truly are and have the light you deeply own reflected back is not only a right but a necessity. We must circle. We must connect. We must speak our truth and be given permission to feel. To let go. To air our shit and release it from our mind and our hearts. We heal each other with our connection. We are magic.
